Kendall Jenner is staying out of the drama.
Fresh off walking the Prada show at Milan Fashion Week, the model posted videos to Instagram from her one-person party in her hotel room, showing her dancing on the bed with a glass of wine. In the clips, Jenner expertly manages to not spill on her plush white bedding as she shows off her ‘fit: a black one-legged jumpsuit by Alaïa.
The skintight asymmetrical jumpsuit which Jenner pulled from her edit with FWRD, the e-commerce site she’s been creative director of since 2021, features one mid-length sleeve and, on the other side, one pant leg that flared out into a dramatic ruffled hem with crochet panelling at the bottom.
In a twist no one saw coming, the right leg is cut off completely, coming up Jenner’s leg and butt in the same way a pair of black SKIMS underwear would.
This is, of course, not Jenner’s first foray into going (somewhat) pantless. The 818 Founder singlehandedly kicked off the trend last year when she walked the streets in a pair of black tights, pumps and a jumper, forgoing trousers completely, a look both Kylie Jenner and Julia Fox (naturally) tried afterwards.
Given we’ve been seeing the return of one-shoulder ‘00s top designs recently, it only makes sense one pant leg would be next – and that Jenner would be the one to debut it. But despite the approval of her big sister, Khloe Kardashian, who wrote, “I just love you” on the post, Jenner’s look has elsewhere been confusing the internet. One person commented, “Imagine only shaving one leg” and another wrote, “the most ridiculous dress I have seen in a while.”
Jenner, who was recently linked to rapper Bad Bunny, hasn’t commented on her new romance (though her ex-boyfriend Devin Booker low-key has). Nor has she taken any sides in the current cold war between her younger sister Kylie, friend Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez, which has completely overrun a particular section of the internet (IYKYK and if you don’t, that’s commendable) and likely has a little something to do with some of the negative commentaries on her video.
No drama to see here, just cute ‘fits!
