Kendall Jenner knows how to make the most of a red carpet. Attending the 11th annual LACMA Art and Film Gala in LA over the weekend, the 27-year-old model used her time in the spotlight wisely, wearing a sheer bodysuit from up and coming French-Turkish designer Burc Akyol. Along with the long-sleeved bodysuit, Jenner wore a metallic silver low-slung skirt and heels.
After being introduced to the world of fashion and design by his father – and working with a number of French Maisons – Akyol started his eponymous label in 2019 with one agenda: exceptionally made clothing, in exceptional fabrics for exceptional moments. He was also announced as the recipient of the Guest Country category at the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards Ceremony that took place only weeks ago in Doha.
“Being a Burc-boy or a Burc-girl means standing elegantly out and feeling sexy and confident,” the designer’s biography on his website reads.
Aside from some maroon nail polish, Jenner stuck to her signature beauty look: over-lined lips, fluffy lashes, and a light smokey eye. And, as is standard for the Kardashian-Jenner family, celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin was responsible for creating a set of perfect, glossy loose waves.
Also in attendance at the LACMA gala was Kim Kardashian, who wore a skin-tight black gown with pointed heels and matching gloves—a look that’s slowly becoming her own sartorial signature. Olivia Wilde was also shining bright at the gala, which was co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow.
