We can always count on our girl Julia Fox to keep it real, particularly when it comes to her prolific TikTok account. The star is known for sharing her unfiltered opinions on everything from dating to parenting, and now she’s taken aim at the beauty industry for peddling anti ageing rhetoric while promoting skincare products.

“Just so you guys know, ageing is fully in — like fully,” Fox said in a new TikTok video. “Dirty girl, ugly, not wearing clothes that fit your body type, just fully wearing anything you want… all those things are in,” she said. “And if I see another product that says ‘anti ageing’ on the label, I’m suing. I’m going to sue.”

She continued, “I’m going to sue because I’m going to age regardless of if I put the fucking $500 serum on my face. And you all fucking know it, and we fucking know it, so let’s stop lying to ourselves – getting old is fucking hot. It’s sexy. It’s probably the sexiest time in life, actually, because being pretty and hot in your twenties is the fucking trenches, okay? And I’m not going back there.”

When Fox’s opinion drew criticism in the comments of the video, she took the time to clarify that she wasn’t calling herself old. “30 is not old! But I literally cried on my 27th birthday because I could no longer say ‘mid-twenties,’” she said. “I’d officially be in my late twenties. So this is how deep this shit is for women.”

Fox further defended her position on the topic by sharing her personal experience with getting older in Hollywood. “I’m telling you, like in the entertainment industry, 30 is fucking considered old,” she said, admitting that it’s taken her some time to accept the process of ageing.

In a final video addressing the subject, Fox advised women to make peace with ageing and appreciate getting older for the gift that it is. “We deny ourselves these milestones, and for what?”

Amen to that!
