She may not be nominated for an Oscar this year but Jessica Chastain is always a winner, especially when it comes to serving red carpet looks that deliver flawless glamour again and again.
Arriving at the 95th Academy Awards, Chastain looked resplendent in a silver sequinned gown by Italian house Gucci. A deep V neckline with black trim, matched by a black train in the dress, added dramatic nuance to the already stunning dress.
No less dazzling was the emerald and diamond necklace chosen for the night, from the Gucci high jewellery collection.
Chastain has evolved into one of Hollywood’s most powerful actresses with her transformative performances that have bagged her a slew of nominations and multiple wins. Last year, she took home the Best Actress Oscar for her role as Tammy Faye Baker in The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
For that evening, she arrived in a stunning bronze-and-lavender Gucci gown with her hair swept back in a simple ponytail. To be fair, some of the 45-year-old’s most moment-stealing looks have come courtesy of Alessandro Michele-era Gucci.
Now, with a new creative director at the helm it will be interesting to see if that relationship continues or if Chastain will be snapped up by a new label.
Personally, we’d love to see her unleash her natural flair for drama and begin working with someone like Daniel Rosebery at Schiaparelli or even Alexander McQueen.
