Update 24th August: After receiving glimpses of Jennifer Lopez’s dramatic wedding gown via blurry paparazzi shot from the weekend, the pop star has finally unveiled a closer look at the stunning Ralph Lauren gown. The train alone featured over 1000 hand-cut handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric. As it turns out, Lopez actually had two more wardrobe changes throughout the evening from the same designer.

Celebrity hair stylist Chris Appleton also shared sneak peeks at the dresses on social media. Following the ceremony Lopez changed into a chandelier embellished pearl column gown with a plunging neckline and strings of pearls cascading off of her shoulders for the cocktail reception. According to Ralph Lauren, 30 artisans worked across 700 hours to hand-embroider the stunning piece.
Lopez later wore a mermaid silhouette gown with Swarovski-crystal-embellished keyhole detailing and an organza overlay for the dinner reception. Guests all reportedly wore white while Affleck and the couple’s five children all wore Ralph Lauren.
The American luxury fashion house shared a behind-the-scenes look into the making of JLo’s three breathtaking looks. The wedding occurred over three days and guests returned to Ben Affleck’s $8.9 million property on Sunday to toast to the newly-weds over brunch.
Original Story 23rd August: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s wedding may have allegedly been wrought with scandal, but one thing we can all agree on is her stunning wedding dress. In images obtained by Daily Mail overnight, it has since been revealed that the pop star chose to wear a couture Ralph Lauren gown.
We will need to wait until hi-res images are released on Lopez’s EDM newsletter OnTheJLo.com, however according to paparazzi pics the dramatic gown featured a long layered tulle train, ruffled sleeves and a high neckline. It was paired with a sweeping veil. Affleck wore a white tuxedo jacket with a black bowtie and black pants, expectedly also from the American designer.
The ceremony was held at the actor’s 8.9 million Georgia plantation property. According to the publication A-list guests included George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Renee Zellweger, and Jimmy Kimmel. The lavish affair was held after the couple seemingly eloped and were legally married in Las Vegas. The “On The Floor” singer wore an upcycled dress from an old movie. They celebrated their first wedding with a chic honeymoon in Paris.
Lopez has been a longtime fan of Ralph Lauren. She was dressed by the namesake fashion house at the 2021 Met Gala last September where she wore a Western-inspired ensemble for the theme In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.
Ralph Lauren was also the brand of choice for Lily Collin’s wedding in September 2021. The Emily in Paris star wore a long sleeve lace gown which featured a hooded cape for her whimsical-style outdoor wedding to writer and director Charlie McDowell.
