Jennifer Lawrence has long mastered the art of keeping her private life firmly behind closed doors, yet in true Hollywood fashion, her wardrobe has a way of saying just enough. In photos (see here), she was spotted enjoying a stroll around New York City, looking effortlessly undone in a charcoal T-shirt by The Row, oversized blue jeans by La Ligne, a vintage red Fendi bag and white Adidas sneakers. Black sunglasses and a tousled up-do completed the picture of off-duty ease, while gold and beaded necklaces by Sophie Buhai brought her signature dash of bohemian polish.
But it wasn’t the necklaces that caused a double-take, but her keychain. Dangling alongside her apartment keys were two strands of beads, one spelling out “Cy” in green, the other “Louie” in blue. Cy, of course, is the name of Lawrence’s first child, born in 2022, which leaves little doubt that Louie must be the name of her second child with husband Cooke Maroney.

The discreet reveal marks the first public hint of the couple’s baby’s name since news of the birth surfaced in April. True to form, Lawrence has kept the details under wraps, preferring instead to (understandably) keep her children out of the spotlight.
Though she’s as busy as ever, motherhood, she has said, transformed her world, and even her work, too.
“Having children changes everything. It changes your whole life. It’s brutal and incredible,” she said of motherhood during a Cannes press conference. “So not only do they go into every decision of if I’m working, where I’m working, when I’m working… I didn’t know that I could feel so much, and my job has a lot to do with emotion.”
“They’ve changed my life, obviously, for the best, and they’ve changed me creatively,” she continued, joking that it’s a great skills-boosting experience for those in the industry. “I highly recommend having kids if you want to be an actor.”
