Currently based in Tacoma, Washington, Jackelina Bonds originally hails from Palm Springs, California where she still frequents often. Jackelina appears to come from mixed racial background, but she has yet to confirm.
The 27-year-old graduated with a degree in Dental Assisting from Clover Park Technical College with an honours title. After graduating, she pursued a Certified Dental Assistant certification from Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination. Currently, Jackelina Bonds work as a Dental Surgical Assistant at Mercer Island Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Washington.

As seen in the fourth episode of Love Is Blind, Jackelina broke down and eventually opened up about her commitment to her family. She later revealed to Entertainment Weekly that her father has stage two cancer, and that she helps care for him and her family.
“My father, he’s sick. He has cancer, so I have to take care of him when I go home every weekend. I make sure that my parents are good, the bill is paid as my dad can’t work no more. I have a lot of family stuff that I have to tend to. Family always comes first,” she told the outlet.
After her engagement with Marshall broke off, Jackelina rekindled her romance with Josh Demas, another Love is Blind season four contestant. Although there was confusion and drama, the couple are still going as strong as ever. They post each other on their Instagram accounts and star in TikTok videos together.
Jackelina and Josh did not participate in the Love Is Blind season four reunion citing concerns for her mental health. “They had me talk to a psychologist, and the psychologist was the one that told us that we weren’t gonna go. That was how it went down,” Bonds told TheWrap.
