Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has shared a sweet insight into life with her newborn daughter.
The new mother, who welcomed her first child, baby Mahra, last month, took to Instagram to share a small update with her 324,000 followers.
In the heartwarming image, Sheikha Mahra gazes lovingly at her daughter. “Just the two of us,” she captioned the post, which she has now also made her new Instagram profile picture.

Sheikha Mahra: Life as a new mother
This isn’t the first time Sheikha Mahra has shared her daughter with her devoted social media following. Since Mahra’s birth on May 1, 2024, the Dubai princess has posted multiple photos, capturing her first month as a proud mother.
A few days after baby Mahra’s birth, the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared candid moments from her birth journey at Latifa Hospital, thanking the maternity team, including Dr. Fadi Mirza, who assisted with the delivery.
The carousel also featured her husband, His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, supporting his wife and also cradling his daughter for the first time. Sheikha Mahra’s mother Zoe Grigorakos was also there for the birth of her first grandchild.
Though Sheikha Mahra does tend to lead a private life, she shared another update of baby Mahra with her followers with a precious moment of the newborn gently holding her mother’s fingers.
It’s been quite the year for Sheikha Mahra.
A little over a year ago, she wed Sheikh Mana in a lavish ceremony, which took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
On her wedding day, the bride was dressed in an ethereal white embroidered ballgown by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture. She chose to gracefully leave her hair down and complimented the hairstyle with an embroidered tulle veil. For jewellery, she wore a diamond bracelet, diamond rings, and a diamond watch by Chopard. The bride kept it simple with an elegant French manicure.
The royal couple then announced they were expecting their first child together in October 2023, which was followed by a gender reveal in February, as well as a 30th birthday celebration for Her Highness.
A now she embarks on her next chapter as a doting mother to baby Mahra.
