Hiba Abouk is a Spanish-Tunisian actress known for her work in Spanish television series and movies. She was born in 1986 in the city of Madrid, making her 12 years older than her 1998-born estranged husband. Similar to Hakimi, her parents immigrated to Spain from Tunisia. Hiba is the youngest of four children and is of Tunisian and Libyan descent.

Hiba has a degree in Arabic philology. However, when she discovered her love for acting, she pursued a licentiate program in drama at the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático, a drama institution located in Madrid, Spain.

Hiba landed her first role in 2008 in a single episode of the TV series El síndrome de Ulíses. However, it took her a couple of years to make a dent in the industry. Since then, she has appeared in numerous television series, movies, and theatre productions. Hiba gained international fame for her role as Fatima in the Spanish television series “El Principe” (The Prince) in 2014, which propelled her to fame and established her as a household name. The series was a huge success and earned Abouk critical acclaim for her performance. She has also appeared in several other popular television series, including “La Caza: Monteperdido” (The Hunt: Monteperdido), “El Nino” (The Boy), and “La Cara Oculta” (The Hidden Face).

Reportedly, in 2018, Tunisian-Spanish actress Hiba Abouk and Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi, who was then playing for Real Madrid. The romance grew, and the couple went public at a charity event in Madrid in 2019 and became Instagram official two months later. The pair later married in an intimate ceremony in November 2019.

The couple gave birth to their first son, Amín, in February 2020, and their second son, Naim, in 2022. Although Hiba and Hakimi post pictures of their sons on Instagram, they often blur their faces to protect their privacy.

Following the allegations against Hakimi, Hiba broke her month-long silence and issued a statement clarifying that she and Hakimi had separated well before the media events of which she had no knowledge. In her statement to El Pais, Hiba expressed her shock at having to deal with not only the usual pain and sadness of separation and the failure of their family project, but also the added humiliation caused by recent events.
