Khalid Al Ameri and Salama Mohamed are one of the UAE’s most prominent social media influencers, amassing huge followings both together and separately over the last few years.
However, over the last 12 months, the pair appear to have gone quiet on their various channels, leading to speculation as whether the married couple have now parted ways.
Fans of both Khalid and Salama have speculated about their split after months of their content appearing without the other.
Additionally, much of their joint content and several channels have been taken down or deleted.
While a split announcement has not been disclosed, a recent post by Khalid on Instagram, featuring a black-and-white photo of his hands with a woman sporting engagement rings, has led to widespread speculation. Commenters are questioning Khalid’s post, asking, “Just, what is going on between them?”
However, many have congratulated Khalid and his supposed future wife-to-be.
Despite the congratulatory comments on Khalid’s Instagram post, which he captioned “Alhumdulilah,” or “Thank God,” speculation continues about his relationship status with Salama, with whom he shares two children.
Salama recently appeared on popular Arab podcaster Hikmat Wehbi’s show, hinting at a recent turbulent time in her life, which many fans have alluded to a split with Khalid. Without revealing the context of the situation, she explained to the host, “I think at this stage of my life, it’s necessary that I just sit by myself… I can’t change people, but I can change people by removing them, replacing them.”
More recently, the beauty mogul appeared on Sheen Gurrib’s podcast. When asked about how she’s dealing with negative energy, Salama said she “cuts the chord immediately.”
Both content creators appear to now be focussing on their individual careers. Khalid continues to produce humorous content while also evolving his topics to include personal development, yet maintaining his authentic flair.
Salama has developed a new niche, focusing on motivation, and wellbeing, but staying in touch with her beauty content, which quickly helped her rise to fame in the GCC region.
