Hailey Bieber is officially continuing her reign as the world’s biggest trend-setter in beauty, this time with a moody new update to her viral ‘glazed donut nails‘. After the model donned chrome-topped silver nails for the launch of her skincare brand Rhode earlier in the year, social media quickly filled up with fans attempting the look on their own digits.

In the months since the star has given her signature glazed donut nails several updates, including swapping out the original milky-sheer OPI shade of ‘Funny Bunny’ for shades of neon yellow, grey and lavender. Each time Bieber’s go-to nail artist (and the creative mind behind the design) Zola Ganzorig applied OPI’s Stay Shiny top coat and Chrome Effects over the top to impart a high-gloss effect.

Now Bieber has given the look a moodier take, swapping out softer shades for a deep brown hue – which is, of course, inspired by a chocolate donut. “I know we’re tired of my constant color switch up but the chocolate glazed donut nails are really hitting for me for fall,” the model wrote in the caption of her latest TikTok video, which showcased her new nails.

The model’s new mocha colour is already proving popular on TikTok, where the hashtag #glazeddonutnails has garnered more than 79 million views. Even actress Vanessa Hudgens is a fan of the trend, having recently enlisted Ganzorig to give her nails the glazed donut treatment. Commenters have also begun suggesting to Bieber that she start her own nail polish line, which we’d absolutely be here for.

To get the look, Ganzorig suggests asking your local salon for a gel manicure, starting with OPI’s GelColor Stay Strong Base Coat. Next apply a coat of your chosen colour, before adding the top coat and finishing with OPI’s chrome powder in Tin Man Can, giving the nails one last glaze with top coat over the top to seal everything in.

Excuse us, we’re off to the salon.
