GRAZIA is proud to present the first-ever edition of the GRAZIA Gathering.

Last week, GRAZIA brought a group of nine inspiring Emirati and GCC women together to celebrate community, curation and conversation.

Hosted by Milli Midwood, the Head of Young Women’s Lifestyle, and Olivia Morris, the Deputy Editor for GRAZIA, we partnered with Gerbou, the much-anticipated restaurant set to propel Emirati cuisine in Dubai to welcome the nine incredible individuals.

Ahead of its official launch, Gerbou has launched an exclusive supper club, offering an immersive preview of its innovative culinary journey. Set against the backdrop of a private Emirati villa in Meydan, the supper club invites ten guests each evening to experience the progressive congruence of tradition and modernity that defines the ethos of Gerbou, which we all got to experience during the first-ever GRAZIA Gathering.

Complete with a total of eight courses, the menu has been curated by visionary talent of Head Chef Ionel Catau, whose Michelin-starred expertise breathes new life into traditional Emirati flavours through contemporary techniques. Accompanying him is Chef Sahar Parham, renowned for her mastery in dessert creation, blending modern twists with profound reverence for Emirati culinary traditions.

This avant-garde initiative is a collaboration between Atelier House Hospitality and Tashkeel, seamlessly blending culinary innovation with cultural and artistic heritage. More than a mere dining experience, the Gerbou Supper Club promises a journey through the intricate tapestry of Emirati flavours, meticulously curated to honour both local produce and culinary heritage.

It was an evening in which our guests – including HH Sheikha Dr. Dalal Al Maktoum, Amna Banihashem, Fatma Al Mheiri, Alia Al Khafajy and more – all said they didn’t want to end.

Take a look inside the first-ever GRAZIA Gathering below.

Starting at 8pm, Gerbou Supper Club takes place every Saturday and Sunday and is priced at Dhs450 per person. To make a booking contact [email protected]. The official opening of the Gerbou restaurant will take place in Q2 of 2024.
