Rihanna is set to expand her billion dollar Fenty Beauty empire imminently, with the launch of Fenty Hair. Rumours have been swirling about the singer moving into the hair category for years, but it looks like it’s really happening – and soon, at that. Per E! News, Rihanna’s Roraj Trade, LLC has now officially filed a trademark against Fenty Hair.

Many assumed that the beauty mogul – who was named the youngest female self-made billionaire recently – would start in the hair category by simply formulating some haircare products, but that might not be the case. While a trademark filed last year only contained haircare, the star has now seemingly expanded the line.

According to filings obtained by the publication, Fenty Hair will likely include “an array of products, including hair bands, barrettes, picks, bows, clips, pins, ribbons, scrunchies, nets, hair extensions, wigs and hair curlers”.

It appears perhaps that Queen Rih intends to enter the market in multiple hair categories. She first began the trademark for Fenty Hair over a year ago, citing categories such as shampoo and hair styling, including hair glitter, for her upcoming new line.

The Savage X Fenty founder has had a string of beauty products go viral recently, including the Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain (Dhs140), which TikTok creators are loving for a natural lip colour that lasts all day.

While Rihanna may have only just given birth to her first child with ASAP Rocky two months ago, she’s been straight back to business. But many are worried that this new addition to her booming empire might keep her out of the studio, as fans impatiently await her follow up to 2016’s Anti.

Despite fan fears, the star insists she’ll be back with a new album soon. “I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better,” she said in an interview earlier this year. “It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off.”

We’ll take anything we can get!
