MDLBeast’s cushy clothing line, Bani Beast, includes branded knit beanies, Bani baseball caps, t-shirts and hoodies made from soft organic cotton, in addition to so much more. Some stand-out products include the limited-edition tie-dye hoodie and tee. Each of these items come in variations of blue and purple as well as khaki green & purple, both of which we can’t get enough of this year. There are also t-shirts in the collection with eye-catching graphics, like The Nightbeast tee that has “The Beast Comes Out At Night” written across the torso. The collection draws inspiration from the Arab tribal culture, bringing together all festival-goers across Saudi and the region into one music-loving tribe. According to Ahmad Alammary, AKA DJ Baloo and the MDLBEAST Chief Creative Officer, “the items in the collection are inspired “from the first Soundstorm festival when it was really cold and we saw the local Saudi ‘farwa’ being worn by everyone at the festival. This is a quintessentially Saudi garment that became an essential part of SOUNDSTORM’s unique festival identity, so we wanted to elevate that to a whole new level. We looked to create something that is designed and is inspired by local wear, but with a twist that makes it just as wearable in New York, as it is in Riyadh.”
Moving forward, the Bani Beast brand will work with locally renowned Saudi designers, as it aims to continue to be a locally inspired festival-wear brand.
