Creating a retrospective exhibition in honor of a label’s nearly 75 years in the industry seems like a far reach. But, Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams is pulling it off perfectly by showcasing its rich history throughout all these years in a perfectly capsuled exhibition that speaks for itself.

Located at M7 in Msheireb Downtown Doha, the highly-anticipated exhibition has opened its doors to the Middle East and is welcoming visitors until March 31st, 2022. The Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams has previously teamed up with other renowned museums to host the historic exhibition in Paris, London, Shanghai, and New York. What stands out from Qatar Museums’ Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams is the select pieces from the exclusive and private collection of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, a long-standing client of Christian Dior Couture, that will be displayed for the first time ever.

The exhibition highlights Christian Dior’s journey that started at 30 Avenue Montaigne and houses Dior’s prestigious Bar suit – part of his first collection that was unveiled in 1947. Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams provides a dedicated gallery section of silhouettes by the successors from Christian Dior such as Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri.
