Colder days are ahead of us and who wouldn’t want to get warm in Chanel‘s fabulous Autumn/Winter collection? The French luxury fashion house just dropped its latest Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear 2020/2021 campaign and it’s giving us the shivers.

Directed by none other than Inez & Vinoodh – Mica Argañaraz, Louise de Chevigny, Vivienne Rohner and Rianne van Rompaey are all featured in the campaign film where the models teleport us to a chalet in the mountain tops of Gstaad (or at least that’s where I am mentally).

As for the collection, quilted overalls with Chanel motifs are showcased, where comfort meets class.  Accessories also seem to be the highlight of the season with iconic pearl belts and classic monogrammed double C earrings. Chanel takes your everyday mom jeans and elevates them with more monogram and a little bedazzle. Shearling took over the collection and campaign with two-toned matching jackets and skirts.

Most importantly, the iconic Chanel jacket – possibly the most important Chanel garment of all time – is reinterpreted into a cropped iteration. The collection takes us ‘from winter sports to Parisian chic’ in a matter of seconds, just further cementing Gabrielle Chanel’s dedication to not sacrificing comfort whilst still dressing the Chanel woman glamourously.
