A hugely popular Emirati café is going global.

Saddle Café first started as a solitary food truck in the emirate of Dubai, eventually expanding to a total of 13 locations across the UAE. And now the Emirati café is spreading its wings on an international scale.

The popular food and coffee hotspot has now opened its doors in Cannes, France, marking the very first Emirati-owned concept for food and coffee enthusiasts in the South of France.

The café’s founder and visionary, Mohammed Al Falasi, shared his excitement at the global expansion of his homegrown concept, being able to share Emirati heritage and tradition on an international scale.

“Saddle’s France opening brings the UAE’s rich culture, hospitality, culinary excellence, and specialty coffee onto a global stage,” he said. “This international expansion is a testament to Saddle’s wide appeal, and we are honoured to share our tradition with the world.”

The Cannes venue is not only brimming with favourites from its UAE menu, including speciality coffee, the café’s design itself embodies UAE art and talent with an exclusive piece by celebrated Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej, the creative mind behind the Museum of the Future’s iconic Arabic calligraphy.

The opening of Saddle’s doors in Cannes isn’t the only international location the homegrown hotspot is making its mark on. Next month, Saddle will be arriving in the UK’s capital city London and the following month in October to Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.
