We might be impatiently awaiting the second season of Emily In Paris, but a beauty line inspired by the hit Netflix series might just satiate us until it drops in December. Iconic French brand Lancôme has announced the upcoming release of a limited edition collection inspired by the show, which is said to channel the trademark Parisian beauty aesthetic.
The surprise collaboration does actually make sense, as lead actress Lily Collins – who plays the plucky Emily Cooper – has served as the beauty giant’s Global Brand Ambassador since 2014. The range of products in the For the Love of Paris holiday collection will feature makeup, skincare and fragrance inspired by Cooper’s looks in the show and is set to hit shelves in November, ahead of the new season.
“With this new collection, Lancôme celebrates the Parisian joie de vivre and the charm of Emily in Paris. It is the perfect way to re-create that distinctive French girl beauty and interpret it your way at home, bringing French glamour and sophistication to all women around the world,” global brand president for Lancôme, Francoise Lehmann, said of the collaboration in a statement.
As the name of the collection suggests, expect red and pink packaging on each of the products to evoke the romantic vibe of the City of Lights. Amongst the seven-piece collection, you’ll find a special edition Advanced Génifique Face Serum to create that fresh French complexion, as well as a heart-shaped palette with 12 statement-making eyeshadow shades.
There’s also mascara for fluttery lashes and the bouquet of olfactory blooms that is Lancôme’s Idôle Eau de Parfum scent, plus even more skincare and makeup – all replete with an Emily-approved Eiffel Tower motif. You’ll be able to snap up the entire collection when it launches next month.
