An umbrella might be the best accessory to rock with your Eid Al Adha outfit as overcast skies and rainy weather are expected in some parts of the UAE.

Residents in the country are gearing up for a four-day break starting on Saturday, June 15 to Tuesday, June 18. As the long weekend begins, cloudy conditions are expected in some parts of the UAE.

On Saturday, residents will enjoy clear skies with partly cloudy weather eastwards, such as in Fujairah. There’s a slight chance of rain in the afternoon in the area.

It’s also time to wear those cotton dresses and linen trousers as temperatures are expected to increase starting on Saturday. Climes are expected to hit highs of 48°C in the UAE.

Similar weather conditions are predicted on Sunday and Monday, the first and second days of Eid Al Adha. Rain-bearing clouds are expected to appear over the east and south of the country, such as in the emirates of Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.

Winds are also expected to repeatedly blow, at a speed of 15 –25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h at times.

It’s expected to be a humid few days ahead with the relative humidity going up to 80 per cent across the UAE, so dress accordingly if you are stepping out. Per the authorities, humidity will be at its highest at night and early mornings over coastal areas.

If you’re planning to make the most out of the holidays with a beach trip, conditions at sea in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to be generally calm.
