Dubai Watch Week boasts all things watch related and luxury. From a collectors lounge to a variety of workshops, here’s what to anticipate when Dubai Watch Week returns for its sixth edition. It will take place at The Gate, Dubai International Financial Centre, from November 16 to 22.

What is Dubai Watch Week?

Dubai Watch Week returns for its sixth edition from November 16 to 20. First launched in 2015 by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the horology event is now one of the region’s biggest.

More than 60 of the most recognizable watch companies in the world will display their most recent models, including Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chanel, Hublot, Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Chopard. Additonally, several are anticipated to reveal limited editions that will only be available at the event.  Renowned speakers at DWW include Daniela Dufour, Watchmaker; Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer of Seddiqi Holding and François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet, to name a few.

The Collector’s Lounge

The Collectors Lounge, will be a gathering place for local and foreign watch aficionados to get together. As well as attend handpicked sessions.

masterclasses and Workshops

Eleven masterclasses and workshops will be available for participation. Including an Emirati Safeefah leather bracelet-making session conducted by the Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council. Additionally, renowned thought leaders in the watch business will be featured in this year’s program including masterclasses by Nour Al-Hassan, the creator of Kintsugi art workshop.

Amadeo’s Evolution of Cameo and other exhibitions will be located in the core area of the event. Celebrated artist Amadeo will showcase a special line of cameo pins for watch leather straps that are specifically made for Dubai Watch Week.

Culinary experiences

While touring DWW, you can refuel with delectable selections. La Niña will serve Latin food and Kitch-In and Home Bakery will serve customized menus created just for Dubai Watch Week. TWIST will also be present, bringing a delectable menu.

The Creative Hub

Insightful discussions and dialogues like the “Super League of Sustainability,” which will examine circularity in the high-end Swiss watch sector, will take place at the Creative Hub. Explore ten Creative Hub sessions and participate in talks led by professionals in the field. One such session will include Mr. Jean-Claude Biver, who will describe his revolutionary impact on the watch business. Make sure to attend the nine Horology Forum discussions, which include the first-ever Arabic panel.

Christie’s

Leading British auction house Christie’s is returning to this year’s festival with a new pavilion inside the event venue hosting a variety of interesting, interactive and educational seminars and panel discussions with prominent speakers. As well as a curated exhibition of modern and vintage watches, jewellery and fine art. An aesthetic dream.
