In collaboration with Dubai Cares, three entrepreneurial women are intermingling their love for beauty and hair to raise funds for Palestine under the “Beauty For Peace” initiative. Offering one-one-one professional appointments within makeup, hair, spray tans, nails and more, 100 per cent of each treatment’s proceeds will go to alleviate the Palestinian devastation. In addition to Palestinian and local brands to shop from, this unique event holds ground for Gaza while offering hard-to-turn-down services and products.

Dubai residents can donate from their couches to the most affected in Gaza with this Ramadan charity. Dubai Care’s Holy Month initiative entails providing hot meals, weather-proof shelter and food baskets to the people of Palestine. With multiple donation amounts offered, you can text “donate” to 9030 to give Dhs30, 9300 for Dhs300, and 9900 for Dhs900. With more options available on their site, and an online link as well, send aid from anywhere with this option.

Gift it Forward

If you have any household items be it clothing, stationary, books and more that you don’t have use for anymore, Dubai Holding’s newest Ramadan initiative may have a new home for it. Titled “Gift It Forward”, this investment company will repurpose your old items and present it as gifts to thousands of blue-collar workers and low income families in Dubai.

In a world where humanitarian crises are mounting, finding ways to get involved is important. One of those ongoing conflicts is Sudan’s ongoing war that has caused mass devastation and displacement across the population. To reduce continuous trauma, The Sudan Benefit Fund aims to provide for and medical relief to affected families using community donations. Currently siting at the $10,000 benchmark, the Dubai community can pitch in through their verified online platform.

Cycle For Gaza

In partnership with Dubai Cares and RaceME Events, DXBike is organising a cycling event to raise emergency relief aid funding for Gaza. Priced at Dhs50, participants have the option of a 4.30pm or 9pm, 10km cycling session. Set to kick off on 28th March, a selection of vendors will also be available to shop from, with a portion of their returns being directly donated to Dubai Cares. Amidst the picturesque cityscape, pedal through Medyan District one this Ramadan, for a worthy cause.
