Amongst seemingly endless reports of Beckham brood drama, more fuel has been added to the fire by one of the family’s members.
Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, took to TikTok this weekend to share a video of him performing his song ‘For Ya Love’. Unfortunately, one commenter under the clip had a quip to make.
“Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” they questioned.
Unexpectedly, Cruz replied to the comment, stating, “Wrong brother mate.”
This was seemingly in reference to his brother, Brooklyn Beckham, who has been criticised for his string of business and career endeavours over the years. These have included photography in 2017, becoming a cook in 2021, a luxury wine collaboration in 2024, a hot sauce brand the same year, and most recently, pursuing race car driving.
The oldest brother has admitted he’s “tried a few things”. However, he has also stated that he has always been a fan of racing.
It is unclear whether Cruz was being sardonic with his comment or just clearing up that he is not, in fact, the “race car driver” brother.
However, amidst the family feud rumours, which have been going on for some years, the comment has clearly drawn much attention.
Rumours of a feud between Victoria and Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, began following the couple’s wedding in 2022. Though Peltz has denied any bad blood, speculation has continued over the years, now extending to the whole family.
Recently, Brooklyn and Nicola acquired a ‘reputation management’ lawyer in order to quash unsubstantiated claims of a feud. But with incidents like these, it looks like they will have their work cut out for them.
