Even if you’re not interested in motorsports, chances are that the race at the Yas Marina Circuit caused enough of a stir to reach your Instagram feed. The weekend combined exclusive hospitality experiences, attendees adorned in their best utility ensembles, celebrity spottings, and live performances from top stars.
Speaking of hospitality, Chivas Regal’s private viewing suite was one of the most talked-about offerings from the event – in fact, it always is. Across the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, the premium beverage label took over the W Hotel’s Royal Terrace, transforming it into the ‘Regal Terrace’.
The brand created an elegant, luxurious setting that gave a curated guestlist room to relax and connect with each other. Music filled the terrace, courtesy of a live DJ, and attentive service, along with uninterrupted views across Yas Marina, sweetened the affair even more.
Beverages were a central part of the experience, of course, and Chivas Regal Crystalgold, the latest innovation in distilled liquors, made its appearance in the bespoke cocktails served on the terrace. The crystal clear drink is the brand’s newest brainchild, the product of a filtration process that somehow keeps depth, character, and an ultra-smooth profile intact whilst removing all colour from the oak-aged spirit.

The weekend also doubled as a celebration of Chivas Regal’s partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP. Charles Leclerc from the team was appointed as the distiller’s Global Ambassador earlier this year, giving a face to the shared values of ambition and progress between the two heritage-led names.
Guests were joined by Scuderia Ferrari HP Reserve Driver and Team Principal. They chimed in with personal reflections on the season in an intimate setting, giving everyone who attended a deeper insight into the sport.
By the end of the weekend, the Regal Terrace had accomplished exactly what it set out to do with its presence. It gave everyone who attended a view worth bragging about, turned an already exciting evening into some unforgettable memories, and provided a closer look at all the action. Consider us signed up for next year already.
