Congratulations are in order to Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky, as news broke moments ago that the singer is pregnant and expecting her first child with the rapper.
It wouldn’t come as a surprise if Rih broke the internet with the exciting news, as images emerged of the couple walking down the snowy streets of Harlem, the rapper’s hometown, with Rihanna’s baby bump attracting all the attention. The Barbadian singer was photographed wearing a vintage Chanel coat, from their Autumn/Winter 1996 collection, paired with a Chanel belt and jewelled necklaces – stretching as far as her belly goes.
The couple have yet to release a statement, but we’re sure that they couldn’t be more ecstatic. Pregnancy rumours first emerged back in November, when Rihanna wore a tight-fitted dress when she accepted her National Hero of Barbados Award by Prime Minister Mia Mottley, but she denied the rumours.
Last year, A$AP Rocky showed his excitement of becoming a father in an interview with GQ. “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.” There’s no doubt about it, considering his child’s bad gal mother too.
Is it safe to assume that they’ll be expecting a baby girl given the colour choice of Rihanna’s coat? Time will only tell. In the meantime, we can’t help but be overjoyed by the news.
