Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) has established itself as a key platform for emerging designers in the MENA region, being the first initiative of its kind in the Arab world to provide financial support, guidance, and mentorship to fashion designers. It showcases regional talent on a global scale, allowing designers to gain international recognition.
This year, the sxith edition of the FTA has moved from its traditional home in Qatar to the historic city of Marrakesh, where fashion seamlessly intersects with history and culture. With its rich heritage, Marrakesh provides an ideal backdrop that aligns perfectly with FTA’s mission to uplift regional talent. The celebrations commenced last night with a glamorous dinner, leading to the much-anticipated awards ceremony.
The dinner and awards show were star-studded affairs attended by some of the biggest names in fashion. Supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Leonie Hanne, Natalia Vodianova, Halima Aden, and Imaan Hammam graced the event, alongside model Younes Bendjima.
Distinguished guests included Karen Wazen, Nicky Hilton, Farida Khelfa, Paris Jackson, and Maye Musk. Actress Yasmine Sabri, Azza Slimene, and actor Lucien Laviscount also added star power to the evening. Creative force Law Roach contributed his fashion expertise, while Moroccan beauty Balqees Fathi and Nour Arida, a defender of women’s rights and bodies, rounded off an unforgettable night. Among the most notable attendees were co-chairs Tania Fares and HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who stood out as the evening’s most notable figures.
