Now, we recognise that applying eye make-up in the back of a moving car can be tricky, as Features Editor Olivia Adams learned pretty quickly when a multitude of speed bumps resulted in a brush in her eye. But like any true beauty devotee, she carried on regardless, joined by social-media sensation Maria Taktouk (@mariataktouk) to try out the much-awaited new nude eyeshadow palette from Huda Beauty.
Like an absolute pro, Maria came prepared with her eyes prepped, primed and ready to go. The 18 super-pigmented shades of Huda’s The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette weren’t quite as nude as expected, but regardless, the duo dived straight in, with Maria starting with shade Teddy.
“I didn’t try the purple, so maybe you should,” Maria challenged Olivia. Challenge accepted, Olivia jumps in with Love Bite, the deepest shade of the lot.
