The American fashion house Calvin Klein has just launched its first-ever regional campaign in the Middle East. It features a group of artistic community members and it was all locally photographed in Dubai.
As for the faces, five talented people from the regionwere chosen to represent the GCC in this new Calvin Klein campaign. These people were chosen to portray diversity in an effort to embrace individuality and self-expression by allowing for all types of members within the community to relate.
The campaign will showcase the creative talents wearing Calvin Klein Jeans apparel and how they each show their own personal style through the same brand based on how they choose to style it. The goal is to show that anyone can rock the brand, no matter who they are. The local talents are very diverse and include Lana Al Beik, Lughass, CreationsofLA, Shahad Salman, and Sonia.
Palestinian-Syrian Lana Al Beik is a model and filmmaker based in Dubai who uses her artistic passions to tell the story of her heritage which also intertwines with her creative personal style.
The multifaceted Lughass is a photographer, filmmaker and visual artist who has many other hobbies and interests on top of that. He has a background in economics and law, skateboards in his free time, and has artistic passions for photography and music. All his passions reflect in his street-style clothing with a minimalist approach.
CreationsofLA has expressed himself creatively from a very young age until he eventually became a multidisciplinary artist due to his skills in various mediums. He specialises in surreal art which inspires his fashion style to this day.
Saudi Arabian fashion influencer and model Shahad Salman uses her platform to promote self-love and female empowerment by confidently posting pictures of her vitiligo journey. Her style is determined by her current mood and she likes to dive into mixing prints, patterns, and textures.
Sonia is a Saudi Arabian singer-songwriter whose musical abilities and style are both outside-of-the-box and spontaneous. She is a creative soul and bases her style on whatever feels most authentic to herself in the moment.
