As we are halfway through the month of breast cancer awareness, this is your reminder to get your checkup and to remind your loved ones, too. According to HE Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Health Sector, “Although 80% of breast tumors are benign and non-cancerous, early detection and treatment of breast cancer increase the survival rate to more than 95%.”
In collaboration with Friends of Cancer Patients, the annual initiative, Pink Caravan Mobile Clinic, launched by The Ministry of Health and Prevention, provides free breast cancer screenings throughout the month across the UAE. Here is everything you need to know about locations and timings:
