LYDA BEAUTY
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Lyda Fischer, the beauty and the brains behind the empowering, fool-proof brand Lyda Beauty, which has finally launched in the region. Woop. And whilst I’m pretty much obsessed with every single one of her products, it’s the ‘Cat Eye Stamp’ that really got me. Delivering the perfect feline flick with just a, well, stamp, it’s literally as simple as pressing the ink-saturated triangle tip onto the corner of your eye and using the fine felt tip liner end to connect it to your lashline. And, once applied, it will. not. budge. The only problem? It’s always selling out, so be sure to stock up if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one…
SISLEY
I’m a sucker for a rich, thick night cream. Especially when it boasts a delicate floral scent and promises to reduce the appearance of dark spots – something I really suffer with. Thanks, pregnancy. Sisley’s dreamy (no pun intended) offering is packed with potent plant extracts (rainbow algae, pea and wild thyme included) to help break down melanin and stop pigmentation in its tracks. Not forgetting the fact I wake up with the softest, smoothest skin thanks to a hydrating blend of glycerin of plant origin, pro-vitamin B5 and Shea oil. All whilst I’m fast asleep. Heaven.

Speaking of heaven, no ultimate best new products list is complete without a candle. Especially if it’s from Diptyque and limited edition. I mean, just look at the striking red vessel and chic woven rattan lid, created to celebrate all things Vietnam. Part of Diptyque’s new Do Son collection, which fuses tradition and nature, Hanoia – a Vietnamese craft company – created this limited-edition candle that’s guaranteed to transform any boring bookshelf in an instant. All while filling your space with the addictive scent of fresh tuberose – flowers adored by co-founder Yves Coueslant, whose childhood memories were filled with the fresh white flowers.

I’ve always wanted to be into hair oils, but because I have the finest, flattest hair known to man, I’ve always been wary of them. Until now, that is. Not only is this all-natural hair hero powered by date and fig oils, but it’s unbelievably light (read: it doesn’t make your hair greasy) and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. Instead, it instantly smoothes dryness and frizzy flyaways, leaving locks silky soft with a touch of shine, subtly smelling of spicy woods with a hint of citrus.
