Bella Hadid is no stranger to the region. Beloved by many, the Palestinian-Dutch supermodel and beauty icon has a deep connection to the Middle East. She has made numerous appearances in the country, often attending exclusive events and supporting local businesses, just as she did over the weekend.

Starting the weekend in Kuwait, Bella returned to the region for the Orebella x Ulta Beauty pop-up, attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first official Ulta Beauty store opening. Located at the Avenues Mall in Kuwait City, Bella fans had the chance to see to experience Orebella’s skin-first fragrances for the very first time. Strutting in style, Bella showed up wearing a red two-piece set, giving ultimate beauty icon meets entrepreneurial it-girl.

Not only did she celebrate the launch of her label in the region, but she also got to spend the day with her beloved ‘Baba’ to celebrate his birthday. Bella took to her Instagram to share, “To be by his side, and for him to be by mine, to see him smile, and to feel this new chapter unfold with him there in the region of his roots… As a daughter, this felt so beautifully surreal.”

To celebrate his day, Bella and Mohamed Hadid, indulged in a Palestinian feast, including their favourites: Malquba, Knafeh, Dolma, and of course, a birthday cake!

On Sunday, for a one-day-only pop-up, Bella brought her fragrance philosophy to Dubai to celebrate with all of the UAE fragrance enthusiasts. Hosted at the Fashion Dome in the Mall of the Emirates, Bella took the stage in the afternoon to greet all of her fans, and for an exclusive conversation with Priti Malik, talking all things: fragrance, Middle East and Orebella. This was one not to miss!

Last month, American beauty giant, Ulta Beauty, officially announced they are launching in the region, opening their first store in Kuwait, and with plans to expand to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As the United States’ largest beauty retailer, it’s no surprise that they, too, want to reach the thriving beauty community of the Middle East. Said to be launching in Dubai in January 2026, they will be bringing some of the United States’ biggest and most beloved beauty labels, right to the heart of Dubai’s shopping world.

For Bella, this marks a full-circle moment. She launched her fragrance label, Orebella, in May 2024, first landing in the United States, which has since left its mark on the fragrance scene. Introducing the concept of ‘skin perfume’, Bella has positioned herself at the forefront of a new perfume movement: one where scent and skin health meet.

All the perfumes are dermatologist-tested and sensitive-skin friendly. Not only are they cruelty-free, clean, and vegan, making it accessible to all; but their products are also, alcohol-free, hydrating and elevated through essential oils that naturally meld the perfume into your skin. This makes for an all-day aura that all the girls love, and a product that really puts skin-health first.

Last weekend, Bella got to bring this philosophy to the region that is so near and dear to her heart, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
