A 19-year-old Emirati photographer has discovered a pink lake in Ras Al-Khaimah. Keen drone photographer Ammar Alfarsi from Sharjah found this rose-tinted body of water on Al Saraya Island north of Ras Al Khaimah, 100 metres from the coastline and share the images on his Twitter account. Experts have suggested the colour of the lake may be due to the presence of red algae pending further analysis. Don’t all rush there at once.
