Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off yesterday in Paris and we’ve been keeping our eye on not just the fashion, but the beauty, too! Two of our favorite powerhouse Arab fashion designers, Georges Hobeika and Rabih Kayrouz, debuted their autumn/ winter 21 collections and we were wowed by the beauty looks.

Georges Hobeika

Beloved Lebanese fashion designer, Georges Hobeika, debuted his collection on 5 July featuring a melody of organza, feathers, and silk embroidery embellished with swarovski crystals and pearls. This modern and classic collection was offset by the exquisitely-daring and currently-trending negative space eyeliner look. In contrast to the bold eyes, the models’ faces were lightly contoured, with minimal natural-flush blush, and delicate rose-hued lips.

Georges Hobeika opened his atelier in 1995 and today his maison contains four lines. They are Georges Hobeika Couture, Georges Hobeika Bridal, Georges Hobeika Signature, and GH by Georges Hobeika.

Maison Rabih Kayrouz

Lebanese fashion designer, Rabih Kayrouz, known for his sophisticated yet relaxed style, debuted his collection digitally on 5 July. He took the current no-makeup makeup trend quite literally. His model’s radiant and luminous skin was the star of the beauty show. No detectable eye makeup, brow products, or lip products were noticeable. Her flawless skin looked as though liquid highlighter was airbrushed all over it. The result? A soft, diffused sheen rivaling the stars at Haute Couture week.

Rabih Kayrouz opened his fashion house, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, in 2008 in Paris, France. That same year, he launched the Starch Foundation. This organization is dedicated in assisting new Lebanese designers launch and debut their own fashion collections.
