AlUla’s longest-running cultural festival, Winter at Tantora, is back and better than ever. This cultural extravaganza will run from December 19, 2024, to January 11, 2025, and will showcase the best of culture, music, fashion, and food. Last year saw the region’s first-ever food festival, and this year promises even more unique experiences across various creative areas.
Richard Mille Alula Desert Polo (Jan 17-18, 2025)
Set against the stunning backdrop of AlUla’s canyons and the magnificent landscapes of the Equestrian Village, the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo returns in January 2025. This exciting tournament, often known as “the Sport of Kings,” takes place in a purpose-built desert arena near Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
AlUla Trail Race (Jan 23-24, 2025)
For the adventure-seekers and fitness enthusiasts, the AlUla Trail Race is the ultimate winter running challenge. It’s an event for the whole family, set to challenge athletes of all levels and ages, from a 1.6km Kids Run to a 100km ultra-marathon. Set in the breathtaking landscapes of AlUla, this ultramarathon will test endurance as competitors race through some of Saudi Arabia’s most stunning natural sights.
AlUla Arts Festival (Jan 16 – Feb 22, 2025)
Art lovers, this one’s for you. The AlUla Arts Festival is set to be one of the most exciting events on the global arts calendar, making this a must-visit event. In its fourth edition, the festival will take place at the hub of AlUla Arts Festival, the AlJadidah Arts District. Running from January 16 to February 22, 2025, the festival will feature curated contemporary art, craft workshops, and artist residencies. AlUla Tour (Jan 28 – Feb 1, 2025)
