After last year’s event took place online due to the COVID-19 pandemic much like many others, we’re ecstatic to hear that Abu Dhabi Art 2021 is back this November – and this time it’s IRL.

Despite its virtual format, the event was still well-received by the masses, who look forward to the celebration of art, craft and creativity each year.

This year’s event will take place from November 18 to November 21 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office.

The announcement was made on Twitter by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) following the success of another event, the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which recently concluded.

While the main event will take place at Manarat Al Saadiyat, the event will set up installations all across town from Liwa’s oasis to the garden city of Al-Ain. For folks that are unable to make it in-person, you’ll still be able to attend seeing as some of the digital aspects that were introduced last year will remain this year as well.

Safety is still at the forefront of the organizers’ minds with His Excellency Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Undersecretary of DCT Abu Dhabi stating that “Abu Dhabi is one of the safest places in the world to visit in 2021, and we are excited to announce that we will be welcoming visitors to our programme at Manarat Al Saadiyat at the end of the year, and we will be adhering to all necessary health and safety regulations.”

Mark your calendars, Grazia girls and visit www.abudhabiart.ae for more information.
