With a fresh summer tan, Leclerc chose this butter yellow ruffled maxi dress as one of her vacation looks. The dress is ruched at the centre, which adds layers and texture that are balanced out with a slicked-back braid. Leclerc implemented this tried-and-true combination with this look by pairing a green Pain de Sucre set with baby pink heels and a bag dotted with strawberries. A Throwback To The 2000s
At the recent Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, Leclerc was seen donning the Dior Fall/Winter 2000 collection newspaper dress by John Galliano with a pair of black mules, effortlessly transforming the body-hugging look into a piece of maternity wear. The dress made its first appearance in Sex and the City—worn by Sarah Jessica Parker’s beloved Carrie Bradshaw. Bradshaw’s looks were ostentatious, loud, and fabulous—and as this paddock look proves, they’re still a style inspiration to this day.
Outside the show, the dress has had a life of its own. Iterations of the dress have graced various red carpets with many ladies at the helm, including Emily Ratajkowski and Jenna Ortega.
