Since founding his eponymous label in 2007, Mohammed Ashi has built Ashi Studio to have a reputation for pushing the boundaries of couture through architectural silhouettes that lean into structure and minimalism. His pieces focus on sharp tailoring, monochromatic tones and clean lines. The Saudi Arabian designer previously worked for Lebanese couturier Elie Saab. His creations have now become a fixture at the industry’s biggest events, from film premieres to international fashion weeks.

Whether they unfold as sweeping gowns or avant-garde eveningwear, Ashi Studio’s designs consistently make statements on modern red carpets. Ahead, discover the celebrities who have embraced the Maison’s signature aesthetic.

Anna Kendrick

The Pitch Perfect star donned this black Fall/Winter 2024 cocktail dress for the Oscars afterparty in 2025. The look featured a fitted silhouette, bell-shaped bubble skirt and embroidered grape motifs, artfully pairing whimsy with haute couture craftsmanship.

Deepika Padukone

Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone is no stranger to Ashi’s creations, having made headlines in his work at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018 and 2022. Here, we look at her 2025 ensemble for a Cartier event in Stockholm: a regal, off-the-shoulder crimson coat crafted from pure mohair, paired with diamonds and sapphires.

Hailey Bieber

On her Rhode promotional tour, Hailey Bieber stepped out in New York City in this ensemble. The sculpted co-ord, taken from the label’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, was crafted in brown horsehair and featured a strapless fitted bodice paired with a floor-length asymmetrical skirt that flared subtly at the hem.

Jenna Ortega

For the Wednesday: Season 2 premiere in London, the A-lister opted for look 27 from the Fall 2025 runway. A waist corset combined with a tight snakeskin-textured latex top laced at the back, paired with a long mermaid-cut skirt with raw edges.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner stunned in a custom Ashi Studio gown for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. The sculpted corset was entirely hand-embroidered to precisely shape her hourglass figure. It featured antique metallic sequins and was elevated by refined crystal baguette straps along her shoulders.

Lena Mahfouf

French Algerian author and YouTube star Lena Mahfouf opted for Ashi Studio couture at the 2025 Oscar Awards and afterparty. The afterparty look, featured above, had a custom black corset encrusted with delicate lace. The top was paired with a long skirt and sheer sleeves.

Margot Robbie

Australian actress Margot Robbie stepped out in Sydney in custom Ashi Studio couture for the Wuthering Heights premiere. In line with the themes of the film, the look was 18th-century inspired. It featured a hand-painted corset in rusted écru with distressed tulle sleeves and a skirt to finish.

Queen Rania

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan celebrated her 50th birthday in a long-sleeved crepe gown courtesy of Ashi Studio. The regal ensemble featured button detailing and intricate embroidery with a high-neck designed to radiate power for her milestone portrait.

Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor attended the label’s Fall/Winter 2026 couture show in Paris in a look from the Spring/Summer collection earlier this year. According to a press release from Ashi Studio, the dark tobacco ensemble combined a sculpted corset top, waist piece and floor-length fringe skirt, all in embossed crocodile leather.

Zendaya

Another familiar face for Ashi’s and other Arab designers’ looks is the princess of the people, Zendaya. For the Spider-Man 4 Mexico City stop, she chose this stunning midnight black silk dress with web-like knit detailing and a beaded fringe.
