It’s long been known that K-pop star and actress Jennie is one of South Korea’s biggest fashion icons.

And sure enough, as awards season takes over the East, the idol has further cemented her icon status with her latest red carpet appearance at the Melon Music Awards 2025.

Shifting away from the usual sharp tailoring and streetwear-inspired looks that most K-pop groups have taken a keen liking to, the BLACKPINK member opted for a softer, more elegant approach to the red carpet.

Just before dominating the stage in Singapore, where she performed her chart-topping singles Like Jennie and Zen and took home the Record Of The Year award, Jennie captured the attention wearing a tulle gown by none other than Lebanese couturier Georges Hobeika from his Fall/Winter 2025 couture collection.

A dress that perfectly complemented Jennie’s silhouette and energy, the look featured a sculpted corseted bodice in white, adorned with Hobeika’s signature crystal embellishments at the peaks. The dress further added a sharp contrast with a low-waisted layered tulle skirt in a noir colourway – a very Jennie-coded look.

Jennie Opts For Georges Hobeika At Coachella 2025

Of course, Jennie’s relationship with the Lebanese fashion house predates the 2025 Melon Music Awards.

Earlier this year, the South Korean pop idol graced the Coachella stage for her first-ever solo appearance, where she wore a Western-inspired outfit from the brand’s FW2025 collection.

The outfit featured a crocodile-embossed jacket and bra top, which she completes with a pair of custom mini shorts by Los Angeles-based brand, Cottoin Candy LA, thigh-high boots from DIDU and shades by Acne Studios.
