Twin sisters Simi and Haze Khadra, known for their minimal beauty line, have always been unapologetic in their solidarity for Palestine. They leave no room for doubt, consistently holding space for Palestine and using their platform to educate and raise awareness.
Amidst the occurring conflict and devastation in the land of Palestine, the two beauty moguls have expressed their deep heartache over the oppression and the tragic loss the Palestinians face every day.
Taking to Instagram, the pair raised their voice to call for justice. “There is no excuse for this,” the sisters wrote as they shared the rising death tolls—many of which are women and children.
The Palestinian DJs and philanthropists have continued to bring awareness on the crisis, urging their 1.7 million followers and beyond to “stand for something and speak up when witnessing crimes against humanity.”
Continuing to fight for the cause, the sisters have persistently used their eponymous beauty brand to support the people of Palestine. Particularly raising funds and donations to the victims and frontline organisations such as the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).
Who Are Palestinian Twins Simi and Haze Khadra?
The Palestinian beauty brand founders were born in Saudi Arabia as Sama and Haya Khadra.
Growing up, the twins constantly moved between the cosmopolitan cities of Dubai and London before finally moving to their home in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California to study Film Production and Fine Arts.
Having both beauty and brains, they graduated in the top two per cent of their class, all whilst going to shoots, DJing, and being friends with celebs like BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber.
