If there’s one thing Rihanna and A$AP Rocky understand, it’s the power of a statement couple dressing moment. Yesterday, that statement came in the form of Courtroom-Chic as the duo put up a united front while stepping out of a courthouse in Los Angeles following Rocky’s not-guilty verdict.
Dressed in a perfectly coordinated ensemble, Rihanna’s take on the ‘doting partner’ eschewed tradition for something with a little more edge. For the occasion, she opted for a light-grey pinstripe button-up shirt layered beneath an oversized blazer in the same shade, balancing the look with high-waisted khaki trousers—perfection. Her accessories included snakeskin print pointed boots, a choker necklace, diamond studs, statement rings, and a bold red lip—perhaps the Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored? Fitting. Her hair was the cherry on top, nonchalantly styled in side-parted waves.
Rocky, ever the style savant, complemented her look with his own main character energy in a Saint Laurent suit—that got a little stained with Rihanna’s makeup, presumably from celebratory embraces.
The rapper, who had been accused of felony assault in a 2021 incident, was found not guilty of all charges at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. When the verdict was announced, Rocky hugged his lawyer before turning to Rihanna, who was on standby for support.
Moments later, Rihanna, who shares two children with Rocky, took to Instagram to share her gratitude: “The glory belongs to God and God alone!” she wrote in a Story. “Thankful, humbled by his mercy!”
