Marking 25 years in the region, Cartier’s connection to the Middle East runs far deeper than meets the eye. In fact, the Maison’s relationship with the Middle East dates back to 1912, when Jacques Cartier arrived in the region in the search of the finest pearls, as well as exploring the rich traditions and artistry of the Middle East. That admiration continues to shape the Maison’s creations today, resulting in breathtaking pieces that blend timeless elegance with regional inspiration.

The Journey of Wonders exhibition leads visitors through three distinct realms, each capturing an intrinsic element of Dubai’s spirit. The first is the sea, also known to be an eternal muse and foundation of Emirati heritage. From pearl divers to dhow builders, the ocean’s vast expanse has been a pillar of life in the UAE which is also reflected in Cartier’s jewels.

From the sea, guests are transported into the heart of nature, where the golden dunes and resilient flora of the desert embody strength and grace. This landscape, austere yet mesmerizing, has long inspired Cartier’s designers, mirroring the intricate interplay between fragility and endurance seen in its high jewellery collections.

The final chapter of the exhibition celebrates the celestial nature of Cartier, featuring a breathtaking constellation of loose diamonds and exquisite gemstone sets, capturing the brilliance of the stars.

This exclusive Dubai-based exhibition by Cartier is a rare experience and affirms the Maison’s unwavering appreciation for the region.

The exhibition will be open to the public from February 16 to February 17. You can register here.
