Dubai never stops — and neither do its residents. Between the long hours, the pilates sessions, and the back-to-back meetings, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself. But perhaps there’s a lesson in a city that’s always rebuilding itself into a better version — maybe it’s time we took a page out of its book.

Below is GRAZIA’s guide to the most rejuvenating wellness treatments in Dubai, curated for whenever your body needs a reset and a break from the real world.

Akari

Offering Red Light Therapy and IHHT Treatment, Akari Wellness in One Central is the perfect spot to step back from the hustle of everyday life. Founded by Katia de Rahm, the science-based wellness centre was created as a direct response to modern burnout, hers included. Their therapies will leave you feeling your best, with benefits including improved collagen production, enhanced skin tone and radiance, faster physical regeneration, and improved stress recovery.

The Bay Health Club

Built on its own island and surrounded by a 360m swimming pool, this Al Barari spot unites nature, luxury and performance. Membership is deliberately exclusive, preserving both privacy and quality. Take your pick of fitness classes and sports before heading to one of three social and gastronomic spaces, or reset your body with a choice of restoration treatments. Highlights include a Himalayan salt sauna, biohacking, and compression boots therapy.

Swell

This Al Quoz health club, created by Aisling Kielthy, offers infrared saunas and cold plunges — choose your extreme — to detox your system, boost your metabolism, and sharpen mental clarity. There’s also an in-house café serving up healthy treats, plus a range of fitness classes to rejuvenate body and mind. The retro-chic club is designed to reignite that sense of liberation and wildness rooted in summer vacations past.

SEVA

Literally translating to “selfless service” in Sanskrit, the SEVA experience is artfully curated to facilitate your wellness. At its core is the belief that the journey we take as humans matters more than the destination — an idea the space is designed to re-anchor us to. With private sound healing therapy and meditation that integrates body and mind through vibration and bio-rhythms, you can sharpen mental acuity and restore balance in this one-of-a-kind space.

PEAQ

Frequently partnering with luxury brands like Alo and YSL, this Al Quoz spot blends holistic recovery with social interaction for a unique experience — recover, reset, and recharge on both a primal and a social level. Try their contrast therapy to reduce inflammation, stretching therapy for improved flexibility, or await the upcoming IV drip and red light treatments. To encourage socialising, membership packages also come with a pass for one complimentary guest.

Plume

At this women’s-only studio, wellness comes in three forms. For a relaxing treatment to alleviate stress or improve mobility, opt for one of the specialised massage therapies. Or hire a personal trainer, or join one of the dynamic classes on offer, including aerial yoga, barre, and reformer pilates. Founded by an anonymous French entrepreneur, Plume blends Parisian artistry with Dubai’s grandeur to create an oasis of sisterhood, strength, and solace.

Paus

Founded by UAE-born sisters Sophiya and Sarah Faizal, Paus was designed as a grounding space to find balance in the everyday. Rooms include studios and an eatery, but also reading nooks, thinking corners, and conversational hubs. Whether you’re after movement classes, community events, or a spa day, this wellness club offers it all — choose from signature treatments including the quartz poultice or the melted candle massage.

Gray Wellness

Located inside the Kempinski hotel, strength meets style at Gray Wellness club, where the core philosophy is simple: do what feels right for you, day to day. Indulge in daily treatments like a cold plunge or infrared sauna, or book ahead for a hyperbaric chamber session to reduce inflammation, or PEMF therapy to stimulate tissue healing. You can also join a movement class or grab a meal at the beautifully designed café, with its protein-rich, nutrient-dense menu.

Sohum Wellness Sanctuary

This innovative spot seamlessly blends ancient wisdom with modern practice, offering a host of transformative therapies for mental, physical, and spiritual balance. Conceived by certified yoga instructor and reiki healer Tanya Mansotra, the aim was to craft a haven for holistic wellbeing. The aromatherapy, with its personalised essential oil blends, is a standout — alongside international healing techniques and holistic wellness retreats.
