Since Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August, it’s been unclear where the former couple stand with each other after ending their marriage. But now, it seems the pair are putting on a united front as they were pictured enjoying each other’s company during a lunch outing over the weekend.
On September 15, almost a month after their divorce proceedings were officially underway, Lopez and Affleck reunited at the Beverly Hills Hotel—also where Affleck had been seen meeting up with his new reported love interest, Kick Kennedy.
A witness even told Page Six that the two looked cosy and were “holding hands and kissing.” Affleck’s children Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, and Lopez’s twins, Emme and Max, 16, joined them but allegedly sat on a separate table at the venue’s Polo Lounge. At one point during the outing, they were photographed in a parked car outside the hotel, having what looked like an intense conversation.
Jennifer Garner was also seen at the hotel, leaving with the two children she shares with Affleck.
For the occasion, Lopez donned a cropped black turtleneck and high-waisted flared jeans in a dark wash that emphasised her figure. Her accessories of gold aviator sunglasses and a lizard-print tote bag, while minimal, boasted her signature bombshell style.
Affleck also dressed for the meet-up in a blue button-down shirt layered over a grey T-shirt, jeans, Nike sneakers and dark aviators.
As per court documents registered on August 20, the two-year anniversary of their second wedding, the songstress registered their official date of separation as April 26, 2024, which aligns with rumours of troubles in their relationship.
Lopez and Affleck, or ‘Bennifer’ as they’re collectively known, reignited their relationship in September 2021 after breaking off their initial engagement in 2004.
