Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum appears to be venturing into the realm of perfumery.
Over the weekend, the Dubai royal shared a short clip with her 980,000 followers showcasing a fragrance, as well as the name of the brand, By Mahra M1.
While not much is known about her eponymous perfume brand, the sheikha did share a glimpse at the name of her first fragrance entitled “Divorce”. Given that the Emirati princess recently unveiled her split from her husband of less than one year, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, the new scent could be a nod to her marriage breakdown.
With the exciting arrival of the perfume, many of her followers, including perfume connoisseur and creator of Kayali, Mona Kattan, commented on their support for the Sheikha’s endeavours.
Who is Sheikha Mahra?
Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, and is a well-known princess, philanthropist, businesswoman and online influencer.
She plays a significant role in spreading awareness of societal issues and spends her royal engagements giving back to the community.

Sheikha Mahra Announces Divorce With Sheikh Mana on Instagram
Taking to Instagram on July 16, 2024, Sheikha Mahra announced her divorce with His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.
She said in the post, “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
Ever since then, the pair have unfollowed each other on their social accounts and deleted many shared photos.
After the announcement, the Sheikha instead focused her attention on her firstborn baby, Mahra, sharing new photos weekly.
Even showering her father with gratitude for being her stronghold amidst turbulent times. She took to Instagram with a post which said, “Thank you for your support. Thank you for your love.”
