Emirati influencer and entrepreneur Khalid Al Ameri has announced some surprising news.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 40-year-old social media star shared a black and white photo of his hand alongside a woman’s, both sporting wedding rings, hinting at a new marriage or engagement.
The caption read “Alhumdulilah,” which means “thank God” in Arabic.
As soon as the post went live, the comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages.
“Barak ALLAH ❤️, so happy for you Khalid, may ALLAH bless you guys ❤️,” one comment said.
“Mubrook ✨ May Allah Make It Easy For You Both Ameen ❤️,” another said.
Many other comments echoed the same sentiment, but it also raised questions from many fans about Salama Mohamed, whom Khalid married many years ago and has two children with.
While there hasn’t been further confirmation from Khalid or his team about a potential engagement or wedding, rumours about his wife Salama Mohamed and Khalid separating have been circulating online for months after the pair stopped appearing together in their content.
Khalid and Salama have been beloved figures in the Middle Eastern social media scene, known for their heartwarming and humorous family vlogs, as well as skits on YouTube and Instagram.
Their content often highlighted relatable aspects of married life and parenting. The couple shares two children together, Khalifa and Abdullah.
In addition to his family-focused content, Khalid is renowned for his comedic videos and travel vlogs. His storytelling style and engaging personality have taken him to numerous countries, where he showcases different cultures and experiences.
His most recent travel vlog featured a trip to India, where he explored the local culture and cuisine.
Salama, on the other hand, continues to share her daily life with a focus on style and beauty. Salama is also a successful entrepreneur, she is the founder and CEO of the skincare brand Peacefull.
