Paying close over $1 million for a rare premium Jacob & Co. timepiece might just get you in a room with the revolutionary Jacob Arabo himself. Or at least that was the case for the world renowned football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo.
The watchmaker himself made a visit from his New York headquarters to Saudi Arabia to hand deliver a brand new timepiece to Ronaldo, who has been based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the last year, playing with Al Nassr football club.
Cristiano Ronaldo hand-delivered a $1.3 million watch
In a video posted by Jacob to his personal Instagram, Ronaldo is seen in a silk navy-blue Fendi two piece and the star player is hand-delivered the seven figured Twin Turbo Furious watch. A watch that embodies the mechanics and art of a racing sports car. On his wrist sits a diamond encrusted, hand-assembled timepiece that embodies the pinnacle of horology and design.
“I was in the neighbourhood, so I decided to personally deliver a $1.3 million watch for the one and only Cristiano,” the Jacob & Co CEO’s caption reads.
Ronaldo’s long-term girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, was also present for the watch unveiling, looking fashionable as ever wearing an off the shoulder body con dress and a Mini Lady Dior bag.
This is not the first meet for the respective industry leaders. Indeed Ronaldo has collaborated with the coveted watch brand, releasing a line of intensely intricate and monumental timepieces. Titled Jacob & Co X CR7, they have built a long standing friendship of admiration and partnership.
Cosigned by Hip-Hop moguls like Jay Z and 50 Cent, Jacob Arabo has spearheaded a disruptive watch brand. Known for standing firm in luxury, Jacob & Co. was founded in 1986. It has garnered a grand reputation for its extravagantly luxurious and ostentatious jewellery and timepieces. Usually dripping in jewels and diamonds, the brand creates watches that radiate lavish opulence.

Jacob’s visit to Ronaldo’s new home of Saudi Arabia comes nearly one year after he, Georgina and their family relocated to the Kingdom.
The two moved to Riyadh, in pursuit of the professional footballer’s next steps within his career. And seem to continue building a life of family and sport in the glistening Kingdom.
Ronaldo and the I Am Georgina star relocated to Saudi Arabia at the beginning of this year after the 38-year-old footballer signed with Riyadh-based club Al Nassr for a reported $200 million.

The deal was described as “history in the making” by the club on Twitter. “This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves,” Al Nassr said at the time.
Meanwhile, Georgina has become a firm favourite on the local fashion scene. Following their move to Saudi Arabia, she attended the 2023 Joy Awards wearing regional designer Ali Karoui.
