Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
Loved for its lively lemon top notes and cedarwood strength on the base note, this fragrance is set to be one of the most popular perfumes of 2023 and is the perfect perfume as summer rolls in.
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium
Renowned for its chic and sexy smell, as well as its affordable price point, this iconic fragrance has been a worldwide favourite for years and is instantly recognisable.
Versace Eros
With top notes of Italian lemon, mandarin, mint oil and candied apple, the masculine fragrance also is set to be big this year.
Burberry Her
An olfactory homage to the youthful spirit of London, Burberry’s Her is crammed with fruity notes of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, sour cherry, black currant, mandarin orange and lemon to make for the ultimate sweet yet sophisticated scent.
Davidoff Cool Water
The next best thing to taking a refreshing dip in the ocean? A spritz of Davidoff’s Cool Water. Originally launched in 1988, it’s still one of the world’s most popular fragrances thanks to its invigorating blend of mint, lavender, amber and seawater.
Lancôme Idôle
Created by three female perfumers: Shyamala Maisondieu, Adriana Medina and Nadège Le Garlantezec, Lancôme’s Idôle packs a petal-filled punch with sustainably sourced Isparta rose petal essence from Turkey (made exclusively made for the brand), along with a centifolia rose from France and notes of bergamot, pear and jasmine.
Mugler Alien
Since its creation over 18 years ago, Alien has consistently appeared on the world’s most popular perfume lists. Its iconic and instantly recognisable purple bottle is brimming with notes of jasmine, amber and warm woods to make for a scent so strong, sexy and unique that it still captures our hearts (and noses) today.
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio
For this scent, Armani drew inspiration from the captivating allure of Pantellerie, a place that left a lasting impression on him during his vacation. Designed for men and women, it embodies a sense of liberation, evoking the essence of wind and water. Blending contrasting yet complementary notes of sweet and salty sea water, accompanied by delicate hints of radiant warmth on the skin, it encapsulates the fiery embrace of the Mediterranean sun.
Burberry My Burberry
Another Burberry scent makes the most popular perfume list and is also inspired by the city of London. Specifically, the scent of London after it rains. An olfactory homage to Burberry’s iconic trench coats, it’s a contemporary British grand floral with notes of sweet pea, bergamot, rose, patchouli, and quince.
Giorgio Armani SÌ
With its sophisticated blend of musky blond woods, freesia and rose, this modern classic from Giorgio Armani gets a big fat sì from us.
Tom Ford Black Orchid
When Tom Ford’s Black Orchid burst onto the scene back in 2006, it instantly became one of the most popular fragrances in the world. An addictive and alluring blend of opulent, oriental notes, there’s everything from patchouli and sandalwood to black truffle, dark chocolate, incense, amber and vanilla to leave you smelling good enough to eat.
Gucci Guilty
Gucci Guilty Pour Homme embodies a sense of daring and rebellion, capturing the essence of a modern-day renegade. The scent opens with invigorating notes of lemon and lavender, creating a fresh and vibrant introduction. As it evolves, warm and spicy accords of orange blossom and aromatic herbs come to life, adding depth and complexity. The base notes of patchouli and cedarwood lend a sensual and masculine touch.
Chanel No. 5
It’s no surprise that Chanel No.5 reigns supreme after all these years. It is one of the world’s most iconic scents, after all. Heydiscount revealed that it garnered over 30m TikTok views and 2.6m Google searches last year alone.
Dior Sauvage
Inspired by the enchanting twilight hour in the desert, François Demachy created Sauvage. As the night’s coolness intermingles with the scorching desert air, an array of profound aromas is released. This moment is imbued with a deep blue hue that awakens the most primal instincts.
Paco Rabanne 1 Million
As Paco Rabanne himself said, “In all civilizations and religions gold has always managed to seduce people”. It’s therefore little wonder that he created one of the world’s most popular perfumes and chose to house it in an iconic gold bottle. Inside, its leather-inspired juice consists of juicy mandarin, mint, cinnamon, rose, amber and patchouli, with a touch of spice for that extra touch.
