Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s most recent joint venture was all “about love.” Back in August, the iconic power couple was announced as the new global faces of Tiffany & Co., starring in a rather heartfelt and dreamy campaign for the luxury jeweller. And since they couldn’t resist stealing our hearts once, they have come to do it again.

Tiffany & Co. debuted a “Date Night” bonus film to its “About Love” campaign starring Beyoncé and JAY-Z, with a special guest appearance of their daughter, Blue Ivy. The new campaign directed by Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton explores the playful side of the Carter’s love story, set in New York City.

“Date Night” is inspired by one of the most iconic scenes in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The film begins with Beyoncé riding through Manhattan in the backseat of a Rolls Royce, listening to Paul Anka’s Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Bert Kaempfert’s Three O’Clock In The Morning. At the same time, the icon plays a game of “he loves me, he loves me not” with a yellow daisy while sitting alongside Jay-Z. We see the couple enjoying a day in the city, admiring the gorgeous skylines and sharing pizza (it’s kind of epic.)

Throughout the film, the Carters are wearing a unique assortment of Jean Schlumberger pieces. Most notably, Jay-Z wearing the legendary Bird on A Rock brooch, one of the 21st century’s iconic designs featuring a platinum and 18k gold bird perched on a morganite gemstone of over 44 carats.

Considered one of Jean Schlumberger’s best pieces for dressing high society elite in the 1960s and ’70s, Beyoncé is seen wearing a Ribbon Fan earring featuring diamonds of over six total carats paired with an Ailsa diamond ring of over 10 carats.

The campaign was conceptualised closely with both the Carters and Tiffany and Co. and will launch globally on Tiffany and Co. platforms today. While the “About Love” campaign featured a story of longing and reunion, “Date Night” demonstrates the beauty and joy of everyday romance.

More content is set to come later on this year with additional bonus films created by director Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton, including the team from “About Love” from wardrobe stylists June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte to hairstylists Jawara Wauchope and Nakia Rachon and makeup artist Sir John Barnett.

In celebration of the House’s collaboration with the Carter’s, Tiffany & Co. has partnered with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to create the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship Program. As a result, Tiffany & Co. pledged USD $2M in scholarships for students in the arts and creative field at Historically Black Colleges and Universities earlier this year.
