On a hot August afternoon in New York City, Zoë Kravitz once again proved that the “office siren” aesthetic isn’t about adopting corporate dress codes, but putting a twist on traditional buttoned-up boardroom attire.
Spotted leaving the Bowery Hotel en route to a taping of Late Night With Seth Meyers, the actress delivered a masterclass in modern suiting with her own indie-inflected edge.
In custom Saint Laurent, Kravitz wore a sharply tailored, black satin cropped vest with a deep V-neckline and minimalist cut that brought a sultry update to a classic work staple. While waistcoats are an incredibly versatile piece, able to be layered with ease, she took the opportunity to show off her midriff by wearing it on its own. Below, she contrasted the vest’s precision with loose, slouchy pinstripe trousers that hung effortlessly off her hips.

Her accessories sealed the deal. A pair of pointed Saint Laurent slingback satin heels dressed up the look, while silver vintage Nike sunglasses and a black-and-white bandana worn as a headscarf injected a hint of ’90s raver energy. Around her neck, she wore a wraparound cord necklace, as well as cross earrings—all by Jessica McCormack.

The occasion? Press for her new film, Caught Stealing.
In the film, Kravitz is the love interest of a New York bartender (Austin Butler), who is unwittingly pulled into the dangerous orbit of a gang after agreeing to mind his erratic neighbour’s cat. It also stars Bad Bunny, Matt Smith, Regina King and Liev Schreiber.
If Kravitz’s press tour wardrobe is as high-octane as the film’s trailer, we look forward to seeing what else is in store.
