Sophie Turner will be home for Christmas with her two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, in tow.
The English actress has been spotted in London over the past month, with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Joe Jonas, also sighted in the city in time for the holiday season. It appears that the pair have momentarily reconciled to spend the festive period together—or at least, in close proximity for the sake of their two young daughters.
Turner and Jonas acrimoniously separated in September 2023 after four years together. During the court proceedings, Turner sued the Jonas Brother for “wrongful retention” of their shared children. As per documents, the Game Of Thrones alumni requested “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,” claiming that Jonas had withheld them from their “habitual residence in England”.
Turner also alleged that she and Jonas had agreed to permanently relocate to England after the Christmas holidays of 2022. Now, almost a year later, it seems the former couple have tentatively resolved their differences to make the holiday festivities a pleasant affair as a fractured family. A Christmas miracle, indeed.
Since announcing their split, Turner and Jonas have taken very different paths to navigating their newly single lives—both as single parents and recently single people. Jonas has been on the road touring with his brothers, Kevin, 36, and Nick, 31, while Turner has inadvertently attracted the attention of tabloids.
This is partly due to her unwavering commitment to living her best life, despite the negative attention that surrounds her. To do so, Turner has found comfort in her new friendship with Taylor Swift, frequently attending the pop star’s signature “girl’s night” dinners with her gaggle of celebrity best friends, and entering the new era of her life with a new man by her side.
Indeed, Turner is reportedly dating British aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, with the pair taking to the streets of London and Paris to publicise their new romance.
Neither Turner nor Jonas have been pictured out together, yet. But given the fact they’re in the same city for the holidays, could things be beginning to get perfectly fine?
