In 2020, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie split following a three-year relationship. According to an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians it was apparently due to an “ultimatum” the model set: her or Kourtney Kardashian. Since the reality star’s engagement to Travis Barker last month, it seems Richie could also be engaged really soon. Sorry, Disick.
Richie went public with new beau and music executive Elliot Grainge in April and according to a source for E! News, things are “very serious”.
“They have talked about getting engaged and it’s something that Sofia wants and is looking forward to,” the insider told the publication. “They are a great match and it’s going really well. Sofia and Elliot currently live together and the adjustment has been so easy and seamless.”
“They have truly formed a solid bond recently and Sofia loves that they don’t have any drama,” the source continued. “She loves how chill and calm Elliot is and they have a lot of fun together, even when they’re just being low-key at home.”
Apparently, the pair have known each other for years but were never close. Richie’s father is legendary singer Lionel Richie and Grainge’s father is Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music Group. Given the connection, we’re surprised the relationship didn’t happen sooner.
We can imagine Disick isn’t thrilled with the news. Despite being warned beforehand, the 38-year-old was reportedly “beside himself” at the news of Barker and Kardashian’s engagement.
Amelia Hamlin also split with Disick in early September expectedly due to being hung up on Kardashian, again. Less than a month later, he had apparently moved on and is secretly dating.
“The split from Amelia was sudden and unexpected. He was pretty shocked about it. He has slowly been dating, but is not serious with anyone,” a source told People. “He seems good though. He is around for his kids a lot. He loves spending time with them.”
